Freightlink Couriers are on the search for a full-time Onforwarding Expert for our facility in our Cairns depot.We are looking for a person to take charge and full ownership of managing all freight which is handed over to our final mile carriers for deliveries to regional areas in FNQ.This role is a mixture of administrative and hands on work on the floor and would suit a person with a strong admin background who also does not want to be behind a desk all day.Key Responsibilities.Prepare all freight (both parcel and bulk) for preparation for delivery to our final mile agents including palletising loose itemsPrepare paperwork for the freight to travel on which includes a combination of handwritten and digital consignment notesCorrectly measuring dimensions of all freight to ensure accurate costingsEnsure correct use of scanners and maintaining diligent scanning complianceBuilding relationships with key contacts at our final mile agents to ensure clear communication and positive relationshipsProblem solving mindset and can adapt to a very fluid environmentCommunicate with your team and Operations ManagerWhat we offer.Competitive salary based on experienceSupportive and dynamic team environmentCareer Progression in a rapid growing business operationAbout you.A positive attitude to get the job done.Previous experience in administration work with strong computer skillsExcellent organisation and time management skillsExpert experience in the use of electronic scannersFunny, Smart, Motivational and not afraid to get dirtyBe careful - Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
