We are partnering with a leading mining client to recruit a Project Engineer (Civil & Structural) for a major greenfield copper project in Queensland.
This permanent opportunity will see you play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of construction activities across civil and structural disciplines, working alongside experienced engineering, construction and project teams.In this role, you will coordinate engineering deliverables, support construction planning and provide technical guidance to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with project requirements.
You will work closely with site teams, designers, contractors and stakeholders to resolve technical queries, review documentation and help translate engineering designs into practical construction outcomes.
This position is based at the project site on a 14 days on, 7 days off FIFO roster.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate civil and structural engineering activities across project deliveryReview engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentationSupport the development of construction work packs and methodologiesProvide technical support and resolve engineering queries from site teamsCollaborate with construction teams, contractors and project stakeholdersMonitor compliance with engineering standards, quality requirements and safety expectationsSupport planning, sequencing and execution of construction activitiesAbout youTertiary qualification in Civil or Structural EngineeringProven project engineering experience within mining,
infrastructure or heavy industryStrong understanding of civil and structural construction methodologiesAbility to interpret engineering drawings and provide practical site solutionsEffective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teamsStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomesSafety-focused approach with the ability to work within project procedures and standardsWhy Join this Project?
