Queensland Treasury Corporation – Brisbane QLDJoin QTC's Risk Division as a Market & Client Credit Risk Associate, supporting the assessment and management of investment counterparties and risks across our portfolio.
You'll contribute to credit analysis, market monitoring and portfolio insights while developing your technical expertise in a team-oriented, high-performing team.What You'll Be DoingConduct investor counterparty assessmentsMonitor client performance, market conditions and emerging risksBuilding, maintain and enhancing financial models, Power BI reporting and analytical frameworksSupport credit risk assessments, financial analysis and borrowing recommendationsPrepare reports, Board papers and credit papers aligned with QTC's risk framework and appetiteContribute to covenant setting, credit limit monitoring and portfolio reportingCollaborate with internal stakeholders to support informed risk decisionsAssist with ongoing improvements to credit processes, systems and reportingMaintain accurate documentation to support audit and compliance requirementsAbout You3–5 years' experience in financial markets or investment finance or treasury environmentStrong understanding of financial markets and risk managementStrong critical thinking, ability to identify to risks and deliver meaningful outcomesExperience building Microsoft Power BI reports and dashboards and strong excel Microsoft capabilityPortfolio analytics or investment analysisExperience in credit analysis, financial modelling, forecasting and scenario analysisStrong financial statement analysis and credit risk assessment capabilityExcellent written and verbal communication skills,



with the ability to present clear insightsHigh attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environmentCollaborative approach, with the ability to engage stakeholders, drive outcomes and build effective relationshipsA proactive approach and strong sense of ownershipQualificationsTertiary qualification in finance, economics, commerce or similarCFA or postgraduate qualifications (or working towards) are desirableBuild the future with QTC:QTC is the central financing authority for the Queensland Government and provides financial resources and services for the State.
