This position is responsible for undertaking a broad range of duties in the workshop at our Dandenong South Branch.Key responsibilities include:Assembly of both Industrial and Hydraulic hoseManufacture and test hose assemblies in accordance with Australian StandardsFollow procedures required for workshop duties-e.g. work orders, schedules, registers, fitting, cleaningBecome familiar with and have a strong working knowledge of our hose management program (HMP)When required, picking and packing orders (for workshop orders)Receiving, unpacking and storage of goods in accordance with appropriate proceduresAssisting with stock takes and stock managementUse of forklifts/machinery to move goodsUse and operation of power toolsAssist with the maintenance and presentation of the workshopto ensure it is kept clean andtidyTo be successful in this role you need:Current drivers licence and own reliable transportExperience in the Industrial Hose and Hydraulics industry or similar background an advantageDemonstrated high quality service deliveryDemonstrated understanding of manufacturing standardsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsHigh attention to detail and solid organisation skillsDemonstrated ability to prioritise and plan own work effectivelyPositive attitude and strong work ethicFit and energetic due to the physical requirements of this position such as picking, packing and handling hoses and pipe fittingsParticipate as a willing and productive member of the teamCommitment to improving product knowledge and other skills in the industry.Why us?
