As Assistant Director, you'll work alongside the Director to support the day-to-day operations of the service, lead and mentor educators, and help shape the future of early childhood education in the community.This is your chance to join a supportive team where your leadership will make a genuine difference to children, families and educators alike.What's on Offer$100,000-$110,000 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience) plus superannuationCouncil-provided housingLocality allowanceFive weeks annual leaveMonthly RDOStable, full-time employment with Local GovernmentThe opportunity to be part of an exciting recent centre opening in late ****About the RoleAs the Assistant Director, you'll work in partnership with the Director to ensure the smooth operation of the service while fostering a positive, collaborative culture for educators, children and families.Your responsibilities will include:Supporting the day-to-day management of the serviceLeading,
mentoring and inspiring a team of educatorsSupporting curriculum planning and quality educational programsBuilding strong relationships with children, families and the wider communityMaintaining compliance with the National Quality Framework and relevant legislationContributing to continuous improvement and quality outcomes across the serviceAssisting with administrative and operational responsibilitiesAbout YouYou'll be an experienced early childhood professional who enjoys leading by example and supporting others to thrive.To be successful, you'll have:An ACECQA-approved Diploma or Early Childhood teaching qualificationExperience in a leadership or senior educator role within an early learning serviceSound knowledge of the National Quality Framework, National Regulations and Early Years Learning FrameworkStrong leadership, communication and organisational skillsA genuine passion for delivering high-quality outcomes for children and familiesCurrent Blue Card (or ability to obtain)Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications (or willingness to obtain)Why Cloncurry?
