A dynamic and experienced Technical Business Analyst is invited to join a highly respected Data Platforms team driving impactful decision-making across the enterprise.You'll be a technically astute Business Analyst joining this Data Platforms team, supporting the delivery of cloud-native data solutions across the enterprise.
You'll play a pivotal role in bridging business needs with technical execution, translating requirements and enabling scalable, compliant data architectures using Snowflake, AWS S3, and AWS Glue.Key Responsibilities;Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate business and technical requirements for data platform initiativesWork alongside data engineers and architects to shape solution designs and ensure alignment with business goalsAnalyse source systems, data flows, and transformation logic to support ETL/ELT development and integrationDevelop and maintain artefacts including BRDs, functional specs, data dictionaries,



and mapping documentsSupport testing and validation of data pipelines, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and performanceFacilitate workshops, sprint planning, and backlog grooming with cross-functional teamsEnsure solutions comply with relevant regulatory and security frameworksTo succeed in the role you will have;Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst in data-centric projectsStrong understanding of Snowflake, AWS S3, and AWS Glue (hands-on exposure preferred)Ability to interpret and analyse complex datasets, schemas, and transformation logicExperience with SQL for data profiling, validation, and analysisFamiliarity with Agile delivery, JIRA/Confluence, and CI/CD environmentsExcellent communication skills-able to translate technical detail into business valuesExposure to other AWS services (e.g., Lambda, Athena, Redshift)Experience in financial services, government, or other regulated industries
