Working closely with Journey's leadership team, you'll drive centre performance, support quality outcomes, and inspire your team to deliver exceptional early learning experiences.As Centre Manager, you'll be responsible for all aspects of centre operations, team leadership, occupancy, compliance, and community engagement while fostering a workplace where educators feel valued, supported, and empowered to grow.About Our Gumdale CentreJourney Early Learning Gumdale is a large, established service operating across three hubs, offering strong peer support, shared resources, and cooperative leadership.With spacious indoor and outdoor environments and an on-site chef, Gumdale provides an enriching space where children, families, and educators thrive.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure a high level of health and safety standards are maintained at all timesManage the overall performance and success of the centreOversee daily operations, budgets, wages, rostering, and occupancyLead, coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing teamDrive a positive centre culture focused on quality and engagementBuild strong relationships with families and the wider communityMaintain compliance with all relevant legislation and regulationsAdvocate for the rights, wellbeing,



and development of every childSupport the implementation and continuous improvement of high-quality educational programsAbout YouMinimum 2 years' experience as a Centre ManagerDiploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or higher (ACECQA recognised)Demonstrated ability to drive occupancy, team engagement, and quality outcomesStrong people leadership and communication skillsExperience developing, mentoring, and retaining high-performing teamsPassion for building a positive and collaborative workplace cultureCommercial acumen across centre operations, budgets, and rosteringCalm, confident, and values-led leadership styleWhy You'll Love JourneyAt Journey, leadership growth is intentional and supported.
