Dental Assistant | 9-Day Fortnight | Chatswood & St IvesWe are a well-established and growing orthodontic practice with locations in Chatswood and St Ives, Sydney.
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our dedicated team.
This position offers a 9-day fortnight with one RDO every fortnight, no weekend work, and working hours from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm.We provide ongoing training and development for all team members and are looking for someone who brings a strong work ethic, reliability, and a genuine eagerness to learn.
Our Dental Assistants are highly involved in all aspects of patient care and clinical procedures, making this an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive environment.We utilise the latest orthodontic technology and treatment systems to deliver high-quality patient care and support efficient clinical workflows.Your responsibilities will involve:Chair-side assisting and preparation of clinical area before and after treatmentInfection control techniques, sterilisation and instrument re-processing and tracking protocolsProviding patient care, oral hygiene instruction, and orthodontic appliance care guidanceTaking clinical photographs,



including extraoral and intraoral imagesIntraoral scanning and digital workflow supportBe understanding and effectively communicate with the patientsConsistent high-quality patient careTo be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting, or a willingness to undertake further training (preferred but not essential)Previous experience in dental assisting, healthcare, or a customer-facing customer service roleExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA positive attitude, strong initiative, and eagerness to learnThe ability to work collaboratively as part of a teamStrong organisational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environmentSound computer skills and confidence using digital systemsWhat we offer:9-day fortnight with a regular RDOOngoing training and professional developmentExposure to the latest orthodontic technology and digital workflowsA supportive, friendly, and team-oriented team environmentOpportunity to develop hands-on clinical skills and grow within the practice
