This is a hands-on technical role focused on the deployment, operation and support of network and security systems within a regulated setting.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide Security Engineering support to deploy and maintain network security products and servicesSupport Network Operations and Engineering teams with testing and evaluation of security technologiesPerform lifecycle testing and operational support of security architecturesManage enterprise access controls, configuration baselines and compliance requirementsConfigure and maintain VPN technologiesConduct vulnerability scanning, analysis and remediation activitiesSupport and administer security tools including Splunk, Rapid7, Nessus, Tanium, CyberArk, Imprivata, SentinelOne, Airlock Digital and related technologiesDevelop and maintain technical security documentationEssential CriteriaMaster's Degree in Computer Engineering,



Computer Science, IT Systems or related field with a minimum of 4 years' relevant experience5 to 7 years' experience in Network Security Engineering including specification, evaluation, testing, deployment and operation of security technologies such as Firewalls, Routers, Switches, IDS, WAF and VPN solutionsMinimum 2 years' experience leading technical teams, monitoring performance, conducting reviews and participating in recruitment activitiesExperience with ASD Essential Eight, NIST and other security frameworksExperience analysing security logs and event dataExperience managing enterprise configuration baselinesSecurity+, Network+, CCNA and/or CISSP certificationsAustralian Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an NV1 Security Clearance are essential.Peoplebank and Leaders IT are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone belongs.
