Hospital Veterinary Nurse - ARH HomebushGreencross Pet Wellness Company – Homebush NSWHospital Veterinary Nurse – Inpatient Care & Clinical CoordinationBe Part of a Hospital That Has Been Leading Veterinary Referral Care for Over 25 YearsSince opening in **** as New South Wales' first multi-specialist and 24-hour emergency veterinary hospital, ARH Homebush has been at the forefront of specialist patient care.Over the past 25 years, ARH Homebush has introduced some of the most significant advancements in veterinary medicine in Australia, including pioneering specialist oncology services, introducing Australia's first Kyon cementless hip replacement procedures, installing the first CT scanner in NSW private veterinary practice, and operating the first high-field MRI in private veterinary practice in the Southern Hemisphere.Today, our multidisciplinary team continues to provide advanced specialist and emergency care for thousands of patients every year, supported by a team of dedicated veterinary professionals committed to clinical excellence.As we continue to invest in our people, services, and facilities, we are seeking an experienced Hospital Veterinary Nurse to join our team and help shape the next chapter of ARH Homebush.About the RoleThis position is dedicated to the management and coordination of inpatient care across our hospital.Working closely with our Specialists, Emergency & Critical Care clinicians, and nursing teams, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional patient care throughout every stage of hospitalization.This is the ideal role for a nurse who enjoys patient advocacy, clinical coordination, and delivering outstanding nursing care to a diverse range of complex medical, surgical, and critical care patients.In This Role You Will:Coordinate daily inpatient care and patient flow across the hospitalPerform ongoing patient assessments and monitoringAdminister medications, fluid therapy, blood products, and prescribed treatmentsManage feeding tubes and nutritional support plansFacilitate treatments, diagnostics, procedures, and dischargesSupport Specialists and ECC teams by ensuring continuity of patient careMaintain accurate and detailed medical recordsCommunicate effectively with clinicians, nurses, and support teamsAdvocate for patient welfare and exceptional nursing standardsContribute to a culture of teamwork, collaboration,



and clinical excellenceAbout YouYou are an experienced Veterinary Nurse who thrives in a hospital workplace and enjoys being at the centre of patient care coordination.You take pride in delivering exceptional nursing care, have strong clinical judgement, and enjoy working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve the best outcomes for patients.To Be Successful, You Will Have:Previous experience in referral, emergency, specialty, or hospital-based nursingStrong patient assessment and monitoring skillsExcellent organisational and prioritisation abilitiesConfidence managing multiple patients and competing prioritiesOutstanding communication and teamwork skillsA proactive, positive, and patient-focused approachA commitment to maintaining high clinical standards and continuous learningMost importantly, you're passionate about patient care and want to make a meaningful contribution to some of the most complex and rewarding cases in veterinary medicine.Why Choose ARH?
