****SMILES Toowoomba is looking for a motivated and experienced Clinical Coordinator to join our friendly and supportive team.
This is a fantastic chance for a Dental Assistant who enjoys mentoring others, keeping things organised, and ensuring the clinical team delivers exceptional patient care.We'll start you on a casual basis for a few days each week while you settle into the role, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent full-time position as the role grows.Job DescriptionAs our Clinical Coordinator, you'll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day clinical operations of the practice.
You'll work closely with the Practice Manager and clinical team to ensure everything runs smoothly while continuing to provide chairside support when needed.Your responsibilities will include:Coordinating the day-to-day clinical workflowSupporting and mentoring the Dental Assistant teamAssisting with onboarding and training new team membersMaintaining clinical standards and infection control protocolsManaging stock levels and clinical suppliesProviding chairside dental assisting and clinical support as requiredAssisting with dental assisting duties to support the team during busy periods and leave coverageWorking collaboratively with the Practice Manager and clinicians to deliver an outstanding patient experienceQualificationsYou'll be an experienced Dental Assistant with strong organisational skills and a passion for supporting your team.Ideally, you'll have:Previous experience as a Dental AssistantA Certificate IV in Dental Assisting (desirable), or a willingness to complete oneExcellent communication and leadership skillsStrong organisational and time management abilitiesA proactive, positive attitude and willingness to lead by exampleA commitment to delivering exceptional patient careAdditional InformationAt ****SMILES, we're committed to creating a supportive workplace where our people can learn, grow and build rewarding careers.We offer:Opportunity to grow into a permanent Clinical Coordinator positionSupport to complete your Certificate IV if you don't already have oneOngoing training and professional developmentA supportive team and positive workplace cultureThe opportunity to build a long-term career with one of Australasia's largest dental providers
