If you enjoy rebuilding rotating equipment, solving technical problems, and working alongside experienced tradespeople in a supportive team, we'd love to hear from you.This is an prospect to work on a wide variety of pumps and rotating equipment for major customers across mining, power, water, oil & gas and heavy industry.Competitive hourly rate (based on experience)Overtime opportunitiesStable full-time employment with a global engineering companyWork with a highly experienced and supportive teamDiverse and interesting work – no two days are the sameModern workshop with quality equipmentOngoing training and career developmentStrong commitment to safety and continuous improvementAbout the RoleAs a Service Technician, you'll be responsible for servicing, repairing and rebuilding centrifugal pumps and associated rotating equipment in our Gladstone workshop, with occasional field service work at customer sites.Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:Strip, inspect, repair and rebuild pumps and rotating equipmentDiagnose faults and recommend repair solutionsComplete pump, gearbox and motor assembliesPerform precision alignments using dial indicators and laser alignment equipmentConduct hydrostatic testingRead engineering drawings and follow technical proceduresManufacture or modify components where requiredCarry out final testing, cleaning and painting of completed equipmentComplete inspection reports and job documentationMaintain a safe,



clean and organised workshopOccasionally travel to customer sites for field service workAbout YouWe're looking for someone who enjoys quality workmanship and takes pride in delivering excellent service.You'll ideally have:Mechanical Fitter Trade QualificationMinimum 6 years' practical fitting experience (including apprenticeship)Experience with pumps, rotating equipment or industrial machinery (preferred)Strong fault-finding and mechanical assembly skillsAbility to read engineering drawingsCommitment to safe work practicesGood communication skills and a positive team attitudeBasic computer skills (Microsoft Office)About ITTITT is a global industrial manufacturer with a long history of delivering engineered solutions to customers around the world.
