Check out our employee value proposition and what it is like to work at Hornsby Shire Council.About the roleReporting to, and supporting the Property Services Manager, this position provides strategic advice to Council, adding value by optimising the returns and ensuring sustainable management of Council's property portfolio.
The position must manage the delivery of significant property projects and transactions and manage the activities of consultants engaged in property projects including:Negotiations for land and easement sales, acquisitions, leases, licences including community land.Initiate and process applications for road closure,
covenants and outdoor dining to completion.Undertake and coordinate project management in relation to property matters.Position requirementsDegree in Business and Commerce (Property) and/or equivalent tertiary qualifications in a relevant disciplineDrivers Licence – Class cAbout youYou have a high level of professional ethics and personal standards as the role requires significant consultation and negotiation with Council officers of other divisions, professionals, tenants, community groups and the general public.
You have commercial awareness and the ability to make good decisions, with the ability to balance competing and sometimes conflicting priorities.
