This person will be responsible for conducting and coordinating internal audits across our Employment Service contracts and will provide reports and feedback to supervisors and service managers.
You will be required to maintain a high level of knowledge of the department contracts guidelines and bulletins.Success in this role will be achieved by combining your knowledge and experience with your superior systems thinking and ability to balance compliance with efficient business practice.About the Role.This role will require you to:Conduct and coordinate internal audits and document appropriatelyAssist with external audits and monitoring visitsConduct audits in line with audit schedulesCommunicate positively and promptly to implement required changes arising from monitoring and auditsAnalyse processes and systems and implement improvements when requiredEnsure practice meets contract obligations and changing requirementsConduct spot checks and desktop audits to ensure adherence of claims,



subsidies and guidelinesProcessing employment fund and wage subsidy claimsIdentify and report regularly on areas requiring further support and trainingProvide support and assistance to staff with technical enquiriesMaintain current knowledge of contract guidelines and bulletinsEnsure accurate, appropriate and timely data collection to assist with informed decision makingAbout you.To be successful in this exciting and rewarding role you will have the following skills and experience:Understanding of employment services, training, and/or disability services operating environmentDemonstrated knowledge of employment services contract guidelines (not a requirement but an advantage)Experience working in a compliance driven environment (policies, processes, systems and programs)Demonstrated experience of compliance improvements through auditingStrength in balancing compliance with effective business practices and the ability to use data and information to inform decision makingExperience navigating Government and 3rd party software programsStrong communication skills to develop productive relationships with internal and external partnershipsWell-developed business acumen and ability to use data and information to inform decision makingHave a current Drivers Licence and willingness to travel on occasionsAbout us.VERTO has been operating as a not-for-profit organisation that positively transforms the lives of individuals through the services we offer for over 40 years.
