This is an chance to become the technical authority for high-voltage substation design within one of Australia's fastest-growing critical infrastructure businesses.Rather than designing isolated assets, you'll play a key role in delivering the electrical infrastructure that powers some of the country's most critical digital infrastructure.
You'll gain exposure across the full project lifecycle, work alongside experienced engineering and delivery teams, and develop specialist expertise that will be highly valued across the data centre, utilities and energy infrastructure sectors.About the roleVinova are partnering with a leading critical infrastructure business that is continuing to invest heavily in new developments across Australia.Reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager, you will lead the end-to-end electrical design of substations ranging from 132kV through to 500kV, supporting major greenfield and brownfield projects.You will be responsible for both primary and secondary substation design while working closely with construction, commissioning, operations and project management teams.
You'll also coordinate external consultants, utilities, contractors and equipment vendors to ensure designs are safe, compliant and delivered to the highest technical standards.DutiesDeliver detailed primary and secondary electrical designs for 132kV to 500kV substations across concept, detailed design,
