Company OverviewOur client is undertaking a significant digital transformation program, modernising customer-facing platforms and delivering a next-generation digital experience.Role OverviewAs a Platform Engineer, you will play a critical role within this major digital transformation.Working closely with a dedicated team of Front-End Engineers, you will build and enhance the platform services, APIs and cloud-native capabilities that power customer-facing digital experiences.This is a hands-on engineering role suited to someone with a software development background who enjoys designing scalable backend services while partnering closely with front-end teams to deliver seamless user experiences.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and maintain AWS-based platform servicesBuild and enhance APIs using GraphQL and API GatewayDevelop and maintain AWS Lambda functionsWrite clean, scalable TypeScript code across cloud-native environmentsUtilise Python for automation, scripting and engineering efficienciesCollaborate daily with Front-End Engineers to deliver integrated solutionsSupport the delivery of customer-facing digital products and user interfacesContribute to platform architecture,
