Timpelle Kitchens is seeking a skilled Kitchen Polyurethane Sander to join our team on a full-time basis.
This is a hands-on position based in Prestons, NSW, where you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality finishes to our bespoke kitchen cabinetry.
As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for preparing and sanding polyurethane-finished surfaces to exacting standards, ensuring our products meet the premium quality expectations our customers demand.
This role is essential to maintaining Timpelle Kitchens' reputation for excellence in the carpentry and cabinet-making industry.Key responsibilitiesOperating and maintaining polyurethane sanding equipment safely and efficiently, following all health and safety protocolsPreparing cabinet surfaces and components for sanding, including cleaning and inspection to identify any defects or imperfectionsSanding polyurethane-finished kitchen cabinetry and components using appropriate grit progression to achieve smooth, professional finishesInspecting finished work to ensure compliance with quality standards and identifying areas requiring rework or additional attentionMaintaining accurate records of work completed and materials usedCollaborating with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely project completionConducting routine maintenance and cleaning of sanding equipment to ensure optimal performanceFollowing all workplace safety procedures and participating in continuous improvement initiativesWhat we're looking forProven experience as a polyurethane sander or similar role within carpentry and cabinet-making environmentsComprehensive understanding of sanding techniques, grit progression,
