You will work closely with experienced managers and partners while developing your technical and advisory capabilities.Key ResponsibilitiesDepending on your experience, your responsibilities may include:Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnershipsPreparing BAS, IAS and other statutory compliance documentsManaging a portfolio of business services and taxation clientsAssisting clients with tax planning and business advisory mattersConducting tax research and staying informed about legislative changesMaintaining accurate and organised client recordsLiaising with the ATO and responding to queries and noticesIdentifying taxation and accounting issues and recommending practical solutionsSupporting and reviewing the work of junior team membersBuilding solid relationships with clients and internal stakeholdersAbout YouTo be considered, you will have:Previous Australian public practice accounting experience—essentialRelevant experience at either Intermediate or Senior Accountant levelA degree in Accounting, Commerce or a related disciplineCA or CPA qualifications, or progress towards completion, highly regardedSound knowledge of Australian taxation and accounting requirementsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsConfidence using accounting software and Microsoft ExcelWhat's on Offer?
