Morton Civil Contractors are seeking an experienced Civil Site Supervisor to join our growing team, working across the Hunter and Regional NSW on a range of civil construction projects including subdivisions, roadworks, earthworks, stormwater, commercial developments and government infrastructure.
We are looking for a proactive, driven supervisor who takes ownership of their projects from commencement through to completion. You will be expected to understand project requirements, plan ahead, coordinate crews, plant, subcontractors and materials, and actively drive works to meet program, quality and safety requirements.
The work is generally Monday - Friday (with the occasional Saturday) and not roster based. Due to the nature of the role, you may be required to work away from home on a regular basis but will be compensated accordingly.
To be successful you will:
Minimum 3 years' demonstrable experience supervising civil construction projects
Lead and coordinate daily operations while maintaining a hands-on approach
Act as the primary point of contact for both critical and routine matters
Demonstrate commitment to safety and posess a deep understanding of WHS best practices
Assist in the upkeep of project schedules, programs, and documentation
Ability to work effectively as a team member
Robust written and oral communication skills
Ability to set out works using GPS/UTS equipment
Hold and maintain a current driver's licence (Class C)
Have a WHS General Construction Induction card
Ability to work away from home when required
Highly Regarded
A valuable level of computer literacy
Experience and VOC's for operating civil plant (excavators, rollers, etc)
