Our Client

Troocoo is exclusively partnered with a well-established distribution business, who is looking for an experienced Distribution Centre Manager to help set up and refine the running of a current facility. This is a full time permanent role based in Brisbane’s southern suburbs and is required on site 5 days a week.

The Position

As the direct manager of the facility under the direction of the National manager you will be responsible for the smooth running of the facility with 60 + FTE’s across multiple shifts. You will also be expected to run continuous improvement projects and have excellent inventory management capability in ERP & WMS.

Key Responsibilities Include:
Lead the day to day running of the distribution facility with a team of 60+ staff.
Develop and implement forward-thinking initiatives to drive operational efficiencies and improve processes
Lead problem solving and be on call for any safety or emergency issues
Monitor supplier performance and nurture long-term strategic partnerships.




Enable recruitment of key current staff whilst driving team culture and standards across the facility
Drive significant improvements to warehouse layout and inventory flow through

Skills & Experience
5- 10 years’ experience as a manager of a distribution centre
Previous experience setting up and implementing a recent DC from Green Field
Understanding of ERP & WMS (Pronto or SAP is a plus)
High level of written and verbal communication skills
Financial acumen, cost control & labour planning expertise
Excellent attention including stock accuracy, cycle counts & stock stakes
Experience managing a high number of SKUs
