They are looking for a commercially minded Financial Analyst – Inventory & Purchasing to join their team and play an important role across inventory accounting, purchasing, reconciliations, and financial analysis.

This is a excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys getting into the detail, understanding why the numbers move and improving the systems and processes behind a growing product-based business.

Working closely with Finance and Supply Chain, you’ll help ensure inventory and purchasing data is accurate, financial controls are strong and the business has explicit visibility as it continues to scale. Key Responsibilities:

Own inventory reconciliations between the inventory sub-ledger and general ledger, investigating and resolving variances.
Reconcile CIN7 inventory data to Xero and maintain accurate inventory balances.




Manage and clear Goods Received Not Invoiced (GRNI) and Goods Invoiced Not Received (GINR) balances.
Investigate inventory cost variances, discrepancies and unusual stock movements.
Support inventory provisions for ageing, excess, slow-moving and obsolete stock.
Support stocktakes, inventory adjustments and month-end inventory cut-off.
Reconcile purchase orders, goods receipts and supplier invoices, resolving discrepancies.
Review inventory-related costs including raw materials, packaging, freight, customs and manufacturing costs.
Monitor supplier deposits and ensure prepayments are correctly recognised and cleared.
Reconcile key inventory, freight and logistics supplier accounts.

Analyse purchase price variances, landed costs, inventory movements and other drivers impacting product costs and margins.
