This leadership role is responsible for managing projects from contract award through to completion, ensuring strong commercial outcomes, safe delivery and high-performing project teams.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage construction projects from planning through to completionDevelop, manage, and monitor detailed construction programsEnsure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high quality standardManage subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams effectivelyOversee financial performance including forecasting, cost tracking, variations, and margin controlIdentify commercial risks and opportunities and implement effective strategiesAdminister contracts,
including head contracts and subcontractsMaintain high safety and compliance standards across all projectsLead, mentor, and develop project teamsAbout You5–10+ years' experience in project management within building/construction projectsDemonstrated experience working with Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractorsStrong and consistent employment history demonstrating solid tenureDefence project experience (highly desirable)Trade qualified carpenter or tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or similarStrong commercial acumen and financial management capabilityHigh level of competency in project management software (e.g. Procore, Aconex, MS Project)Proven ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to a high-quality standardStrong leadership capability with the ability to lead, mentor, and develop teamsAbility to effectively manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site teamsAbility to identify and manage risks and opportunitiesHold a current White CardHold a current DCAC or ability to obtainFlexibility to travel to regional projects when requiredAbility to pass pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testingWhat We OfferLong-term career development with pathways into senior leadership rolesOpportunity to work with a highly skilled national teamCompany vehicle, laptop, and mobile phoneSupportive,
