Job Description: Grade 3 Speech Pathologist-Acute and Outpatient Swallow Services Part Time / Permanent position (32 hours per week or negotiable)Fitzroy location Friendly and supportive team environment.About the RoleJoin our experienced Speech Pathology team as a Grade 3 Senior Speech Pathologist (in a permanent capacity 4 days per week) and provide advanced clinical care across our acute and outpatient swallow services.
This senior role encompasses a diverse caseload including specialist Outpatient Swallow Clinic, delivering expert assessment and management of adults with complex swallowing disorders.
You will provide advanced dysphagia assessment and management, including the use of instrumental swallowing assessments such as Video Fluoroscopic Swallow Studies (VFSS) and Fibreoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES), alongside comprehensive care of adults in acute services at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne.
As a senior clinician, you will provide clinical leadership through mentoring and supervision, contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives, and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence‐based, person‐centred care.
