Rapid-growing Hire/Service company that specialises in the hire, service and sales of air compressors, generators, lighting towers, message boards, pumps and traffic management equipment as well as providing on-site diesel refuelling services.The company has 14 locations across Australia and in every depot, we are committed to providing our customers with unrivalled service excellence and efficient solutions.About the RolePermanent full-time position available for a hardworking and reliable Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our busy team located in our Grafton Depot.Reporting directly to the QLD State Manager, the main responsibility of the role is to service, maintain and repair the company's fleet of light vehicles.DutiesThe main duties and responsibilities of the role include:On-time servicing and repair of a range of light vehicles (4WD & 2WD)Fault finding on mechanical and electrical systemsWorking with apprentices and other workshop employeesAssist in managing daily workflow to ensure operations run smoothly and efficientlyAdministrative tasks relevant to the positionOther appropriate duties as requiredSkills and ExperienceYou must possess a strong sense of urgency with an"I will make it happen"attitude to get the job done.




The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:Trade Qualified Light Vehicle MechanicMinimum 3 years post-trade working in a similar roleMust have Forklift LicenseMust have White CardCan work unsupervised and can follow instructionsIs self-motivated and takes pride in their workIs focused on providing the best service to our internal and external customersCan work overtime, including weekends when needed as well as after-hours call-outsIs reliable and punctual and has excellent work ethicsCan work overtime, including weekends when neededCultureFamily-owned private business with a hands-on,make-it-happenculture at all levels of the organisation.
