Working closely with the CEO as part of a small, high-performing virtual team, you'll lead the delivery of the ASA's sponsorship, marketing and events portfolio.
No two days are the same.
You may be negotiating sponsorship opportunities, coordinating conference logistics, developing marketing campaigns, and managing webinar delivery all within the same week.Success in this role requires demonstrated experience across event management, sponsorship and commercial partnerships, marketing and communications, together with exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines while maintaining outstanding attention to detail.Key responsibilitiesDeveloping and managing sponsorship and commercial partnership opportunitiesBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with sponsors, exhibitors and key stakeholdersPlanning, delivering and evaluating conferences, webinars and educational eventsPreparing and monitoring event budgetsSupporting committees and volunteers to develop engaging educational contentDeveloping and implementing marketing campaigns across email,



social media and digital channelsWriting promotional copy and event communicationsSetting up registration pages and event processes within iMIS and the Learning Management SystemTraining presenters and hosting webinars and virtual eventsWorking closely with the Association's professional conference organiser to deliver the annual scientific conferenceAbout youMinimum of five years' experience in sponsorship, events, marketing or a related roleDemonstrated experience delivering successful conferences, events and webinarsProven experience developing sponsorship and commercial partnershipsStrong marketing, communications and copywriting skillsExcellent project management and organisational skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlinesExcellent digital skills and confidence using event platforms and online learning platformsOutstanding interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with experience working collaboratively with volunteers, sponsors, suppliers and external partnersAbility to work independently while contributing positively to a small virtual team.About usThe Australasian Sleep Association (sleep.org.au) is the peak professional body for health professionals working in sleep medicine and sleep science across Australasia.
