Pro Tax is delighted to be working with a leading accountancy and advisory practice seeking a Private Client Tax Assistant Manager to join its growing tax team in Ipswich.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Personal Tax Senior or existing Assistant Manager looking to manage their own portfolio, take on greater responsibility and build leadership experience within a supportive and collaborative team environment.The role is predominantly focused on private client tax compliance, offering the chance to work directly with a diverse portfolio of individuals, business owners, landlords and high-net-worth clients while being supported by a wider team of managers, trainees and tax specialists.The OpportunityYou'll take responsibility for a portfolio of approximately ***** clients, acting as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for personal tax matters.With support from junior team members preparing work, you'll focus on reviewing returns, managing client relationships, addressing technical queries and ensuring deadlines are met.The portfolio offers a broad range of private client work including:Personal tax complianceDirectors and shareholdersLandlords and property investorsPartnershipsTrustsHigh-net-worth individualsWhile experience across all areas would be advantageous, the team is flexible and welcomes candidates with strong personal tax experience who are keen to broaden their technical exposure.
