This will include contributing to research tasks and projects, as well as supporting the day-to-day upkeep of the laboratories and associated supporting infrastructure.About You"We are looking for someone with the technical knowledge and experience to work in a highly-regulated laboratory workplace, who is enthusiastic about contributing to cutting-edge research and keen to learn new skills" - Phil Sutton, Operations ManagerYour Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintain and operate laboratory equipment and instrumentation (with a particular focus on radiometric instrumentation)Prepare and update laboratory documentation, including risk assessments, work instructions and proceduresInstruct laboratory users in the safe operation of laboratory equipment and facilitiesAssist in the management of nuclear and radioactive materials,
including maintaining accurate inventory recordsSupervise maintenance staff and contractors undertaking work in laboratory facilities and associated infrastructureAbout UsANSTO leverages great science to deliver big outcomes.
