This senior role, requiring 30 hrs/week, reports directly to the Board and is based broadly within the Southern Central Queensland region, with flexible working arrangements available.
The position leads the organisation's day-to-day operations and supports the Board in delivering strategic, governance and operational priorities.
The Executive Officer will work closely with the Board, staff, landholders, community groups, government agencies, funders and industry partners to strengthen governance, support project delivery, maintain organisational compliance and build trusted stakeholder relationships across the region.Key responsibilitiesSupporting the Board to deliver strategic direction, organisational priorities and sound governanceOverseeing financial management, contracts, reporting obligations and funded project deliveryProviding professional, practical and supportive day-to-day leadership to staff and contractorsMaintaining organisational compliance with legislation, funding requirements, governance obligations and internal systemsBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, including members, landholders, community groups, government,
