Be part of a growing hospitality and events business with a strong reputation in the Bankstown community;Take on a key culinary role where your contribution directly shapes the guest experience and business success;Competitive salary package and career development opportunities.Applications open on 7 August **** and close on 6 September ****Key ResponsibilitiesKey Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist in developing and updating menus to meet customer preferences and seasonal requirements;Prepare and cook food to a consistently high standard, ensuring quality, taste, and presentation;Estimate food and labour costs and manage the ordering, storage, and stock control of kitchen supplies;Monitor food quality and portion control throughout preparation and service;Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, HACCP, and Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements;Supervise and coordinate kitchen operations to ensure efficient service during functions and events;Train, mentor, and support kitchen staff while maintaining high culinary standards;Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment, and ensure all equipment is properly maintained.Skill & ExperienceA qualification in Hospitality and food preparation;Extensive experience in preparing continental and various cuisines to a high standard;Exceptional skills in food presentation and plating;Ability to prepare a premium menu within a set budget;Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment;Strong organisational and time-management skills;Ability to work effectively as part of a team;Willingness to work night shifts as required by the events and function schedule;Full-time work rights in Australia;Passion for food and a commitment to consistent quality.
