you will work as part of our civil crews supporting the delivery of electrical utility and infrastructure projects.Your duties will include, but are not limited to:General civil construction and labouring dutiesAssisting excavator operators and other plant operatorsTrenching, excavation and backfilling worksPit, conduit and underground service installationConcrete and footing worksSite establishment and pack-upSpotting plant and equipmentUse of hand and power toolsLoading, unloading and movement of materialsSite clean-up and maintaining tidy work areasWorking around existing underground servicesFollowing SWMS, site procedures and safety requirementsWorking closely with supervisors, operators and other crew membersWhat we're looking forFull Australian working rights essentialCurrent White Card essentialCurrent full Australian driver's licence essentialCurrent Police Check or ability to obtain one requiredPrevious civil construction or utilities experience highly regardedExperience working around underground services highly regardedAusgrid training/authorisations an advantageHR/MR truck licence an advantageExcavator, skid steer, roller, EWP, dogging or other plant tickets an advantageStrong work ethic and willingness to work as part of a teamReliable, punctual and safety focusedWillingness to undertake overtime and after-hours work when requiredAbility to travel throughout NSW from time to time for project-based work and rostered swingsWe are looking for people who take pride in their work and want to become part of a growing business.
