The role:
We are looking for an additional experienced and eager individual to assist to manage our Support Services across both our day and after hours teams.
As a provider of services to Children, Youth, Families and people with Disabilities, we receive constant engagement from our Staff, Stakeholders and Clients and you'll be responsible to assist to manage risks associated to our clients, staff and stakeholders.
You will be responsible for assisting to respond to all enquiries from our Staff Members, Clients and Stakeholders across both the day and evening teams, and communicating proactively and reactively to all teams.
At times, you will be requested to work the After Hours role in times of leave / absence from our existing After Hours Team.




The successful applicant will receive a comprehensive onboarding from the Support Services Team and the existing After Hours team.

The responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive remote assistance to frontline Capability Staff MembersProvide qualitative checks and tasks for the people supported by CapabilityBuild rapport and relationships with stakeholders, frontline staff members and clients of CapabilityProvide detailed reports and feedback to the Support Services TeamComplete administrative tasks to assist Family, Disability and Corporate services.Provide operational support to Support Services, including but not limited to referrals processing, rostering, scheduling and other ad hoc duties.Support the onboarding of frontline staff membersEnsure all records are kept to a high standard and uphold confidentialityMaintain compliance with comprehensive compliant requirementsAdhering to available practice standards,



guidance and support methodology with guidance from Capability SupportCommunication with ACT Government, Stakeholders, Support Coordinators and wider care team for the clients supported by CapabilityAssist in the accurate and detailed reporting of incidentsDemonstrate and model high ethics and standards, following all Capability policies, procedures and values.
The requirements:
Qualification in Community Services, Management, Psychology, Social Work or Youth/Disability is desirable, but not required.A knowledge of trauma, or complex behaviours is also seen as an advantage.Professional experience delivering supports from a trauma-informed background and managing complex behaviours would be an asset.High-level problem-solving skills with the ability to think respond quickly and appropriately to situations.Availability to work outside of the standard hours at times.Excellent literacy and writing skillsWorking with Vulnerable People Card (Or ability to obtain one)CYPS Suitability Clearance (or ability to obtain one)Valid police check (or willingness to undertake one)
Roster
12pm to 8pm Monday to Friday.
(After Hours works from 4pm to Midnight Monday to Friday, and rotating rosters on weekends).
