Laneway is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Payroll & Finance professional to join their team.This is a wide-ranging role suited to someone who is confident managing payroll and finance responsibilities, with some additional involvement in HR administration, employment documentation and external workplace relations support.Key responsibilitiesManaging end-to-end payroll processingPayroll tax and BASSame-day superannuation processingAccounts payable and accounts receivableInvoicing, with invoicing processed through Great PlainsStaff expenses and employee-related financial administrationBank reconciliations and general finance administrationAssisting with reporting and month-end finance tasksManaging payroll records and employee-related financial informationAssisting with employment contracts and general HR administrationSupporting management with occasional employee and workplace mattersLiaising with external workplace relations and industry bodies on relevant employment mattersMaintaining confidentiality and ensuring accuracy across payroll and finance functionsGreat Plains / Microsoft Dynamics 365MYOBStrong Excel and payroll/accounting systems experienceAbout youPrevious experience in payroll and finance/accountsStrong understanding of payroll, payroll tax, BAS and superannuationExperience managing invoicing, staff expenses and general finance administrationStrong attention to detail and accuracyWell organised and able to manage competing prioritiesComfortable working independentlyGood communication and interpersonal skillsStrong Excel and accounting/payroll software skillsSome experience with employment contracts, workplace relations or HR administration would be an advantageWe value diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences, and encourage applications from people of all identities, communities, and career journeys.
