This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled tradesperson to play a key role in maintaining and improving our manufacturing operations.About the RoleReporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs, and continuous improvement across our production facility.Working closely with the production team, you will help minimise downtime, improve equipment reliability, and ensure our plant operates safely and efficiently.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out preventative and reactive maintenance across manufacturing equipmentDiagnose and repair mechanical faults to minimise production downtimeComplete scheduled maintenance activities and equipment inspectionsTroubleshoot issues across conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, and production machinerySupport equipment upgrades, installations, and improvement projectsIdentify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and operational efficiencyMaintain accurate maintenance records and report completed worksWork closely with production teams to resolve equipment issues quickly and safelyEnsure all maintenance activities are completed in line with WHS requirements and company proceduresMaintain a clean, safe,
and organised work environmentAbout YouYou're a practical and solutions-focused tradesperson who enjoys problem-solving and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.You'll bring:Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter, Maintenance Fitter, or similarExperience working in a masonry, concrete, building products, or manufacturing environment is essential.Experience in manufacturing, production, industrial, or heavy equipment environmentsStrong mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skillsExperience with preventative maintenance programsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and manualsStrong focus on safety and qualityGood communication skills and ability to work effectively within a teamAbility to work autonomously and manage priorities in a busy environmentWhy Join National Masonry?
