Clough Projects and BMD Construction (CBJV) have joined together to deliver the Darwin Ship Lift Facility for the Northern Territory Government.
This facility will be the largest ship lift in Northern Australia, serving the maintenance needs of the Department of Defence, Australian Border Force, and the maritime sector, while supporting local jobs and economic growth.Who We're Looking ForCBJV is currently seeking experienced Pipelayers to join our high-performing project team based on site in Darwin.This role will see you working on a major marine infrastructure project, delivering critical underground services in a complex and safety-focused environment.The Role IncludesInstallation of sewer, stormwater and water main pipelinesLaying, aligning and connecting pipes to required specifications (manage concrete and cementitious products - concrete, mortar, no fines)Reading and interpreting plans and levelsWorking around deep excavations and trenching operationsAssisting with backfilling,



compaction and testing activitiesWorking collaboratively with plant operators and civil crewsMaintaining a clean, safe and organised work environmentAdhering strictly to site safety and compliance requirementsSkills and QualificationsMinimum 3 years' recent experience as a Pipelayer in civil constructionProven experience with sewer, stormwater and water main installationsMarine or large-scale infrastructure project experience highly regardedCurrent Construction White/Blue CardConfined SpaceStrong safety focus and commitment to safe work practicesAbility to work effectively within a team or autonomouslyPositive attitude and robust work ethicFor more about us, head to to the high volume of applications and enquiries, we are only able to respond to shortlisted candidates.
