NewPsych is part of the Partnered Health Group, which brings together many of Australia's most trusted names in healthcare.This position is apermanent part-time opportunity (3-4 days per week) and we are seeking a suitable candidate to support our finance function.About the roleAs theAccounts Officer, you will support NewPsych's financial operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and timely processing.Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Managing accounts receivable, including invoicing, receipting and follow-up of outstanding account.Managing accounts payable, including processing supplier invoices and paymentsPerforming bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial recordsSupporting finance reporting and general administration tasksResponding to internal finance queries in a timely and professional mannerWorking with internal systems to ensure accurate data entry and financial integrityWhat we are looking forA problem solver who thrives on thinking outside the boxA team player who is efficient and able to support financial processesSomeone with a strong understanding of the importance of accuracy and attention to detailAble to adapt and thrive in an environment of changeA strong communicator who can work effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliersSomeone who builds meaningful relationships and takes pride in getting things rightAligned to our values of Respect, Empathy & Compassion, Connection & Equity.Why NewPsych?

Minimum Quals – Diploma or Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping.A keen eye for detail and strong numerical accuracyThe ability to exercise initiative and manage competing prioritiesStrong written and verbal communication skillsSound computer literacy, including accounting systems and ExcelStrong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlinesExperience in amedical or allied health environment is desirable, but not essential.
