There are also opportunities to deliver NDIS Social Work services, and Medicare Social Work services with the appropriate registration.We welcome applications from Social Workers who are passionate about improving the lives of people with disability.
Social workers bring valuable skills in person-centred practice, family engagement, advocacy, trauma-informed care and systems thinking, making them well suited to Positive Behaviour Support.
Experience in behaviour support is desirable but not essential, with in-clinic training and supervision available to support your development of competencies within the role.Please note that this role is located in the Grafton clinic.Your role will include:Conducting assessments and functional behaviour analysesDeveloping evidence-based behaviour support plans, focusing on evidence-based positive behaviour support principlesCollaborating with clients, families,



and multidisciplinary teamsProviding ongoing support and training to implement behaviour support strategiesEnsuring compliance with NDIS and legislative requirementsRegular reporting and documentation to ensure high-quality service deliveryYou will have the autonomy to manage your own caseload and work in a way that suits your strengths while making a meaningful impact on your clients' lives.Supervision of Core Behaviour Support Practitioners and Clinical Review of Behaviour Support Plans.To excel in this role, you'll need:Accredited Social Worker (ASW) qualification is a plus, but not necessarily required.Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AMHSW) qualification is a plus, but not necessarily required.Current registration as a Behaviour Support Practitioner is a plus but not necessarily required.Must hold a Valid paid employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)Must hold a NDIS Worker Check ClearanceCompletion of NDIS Worker Orientation, NDIS Current Worker Induction, NDIS Supporting Safe and Enjoyable Meals & NDIS Supporting Effective Communication Modules (NDIS Commission website)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExceptional time management, planning and prioritisation skillsDemonstrated ability to work to time constraints and handle tasks with discretion and confidentialityHigh level of attention to detail and accuracyHighly motivated and enthusiasticKnowledge of the Disability Services IndustryExcellent report writing skillsCommitment to delivering client-centred careAbility to work effectively within a multidisciplinary teamExpertise in Supporting People with Disability: Our team specialises in disability, offering unique opportunities to become an expert in this field.Comprehensive Professional Development:
