Leading Hand AGrade Electrician - Commercial/ IndustrialRDM Electrical Pty Ltd – Port Melbourne VICRDM Electrical is a privately owned electrical company located in Port Melbourne that has over 20 years of experience.We are seeking an A-Grade Electrician with a minimum of 5 years' post apprenticeship experience working in commercial and industrial electrical to join our team.Additionally, you will be proficient with installation, wiring, lighting and power and main switch boards and exposure to large projects e.g. petrol stations, large warehouses and warehouse complex.We operate in many sectors but our expertise at RDM Electrical is Commercial and Industrial projects with sites across Metropolitan and Regional Melbourne.We have a strong team of electricians delivering exceptional service for all our clients from beginning to end.Our business is experiencing agile growth and due to this, we are seeking experienced Leading Hand AGrade Electricians to join our team.
This is a permanent full time position working 40 hours per week plus monthly RDO's.The positionThe role involves leading small teams on-site, coordinating daily tasks, and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.Leading and supervising electrical works,



including task allocation and labour coordination.Initiating and supporting changes to processes and modificationsAbility to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and scopes of workIdentify issues early and provide practical, solutions-focused outcomesManaging and supporting a team of 4-6 electriciansInstall, test, commission and maintain electrical wiring, apparatus and fixtures in accordance with current Australian Standards.Provide on the job training, guidance and mentoring to apprentices.Monitor and manage consumables, materials and tools on site.Maintain accurate, organised records of works completed, defects and service tasks.Liaise professionally with clients, site supervisors, and internal management.Carry out other reasonable duties within the scope of the roleSpecific Technical SkillsMSSB installationsLarge cable pulls and terminationsThe successful applicantmusthave:Previous experience in commercial and/or industrial workProven experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical environmentValid EWP LicenceValid High Risk LicenceExcellent knowledge in all areas of commercial and industrial electrical workExcellent problem-solving skillsTeam orientatedCurrent A Grade LicenceCurrent Driver's LicenceConstruction Induction Card Red/WhiteWe will contact selected candidates for an interview.
