Working as part of a close-knit payroll team, you will be responsible for processing fortnightly payroll, managing reconciliations and remediation activities, ensuring compliance with relevant Awards and legislation, and providing exceptional service to employees across the business.
This role will suit a payroll professional who is passionate about payroll, has strong technical foundations, and enjoys being part of a supportive team where accuracy,
accountability and customer service are key.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess end-to-end fortnightly payroll for a large national workforceManage payroll reconciliations, remediation activities and ensure payroll accuracyMaintain employee records, pay adjustments, leave balances and employee entitlementsInterpret and apply relevant Awards and EBA'sEnsure compliance with payroll legislation, policies and proceduresRespond to internal and external payroll queries with a strong customer service focusWork closely with HR, Finance and operational teams to resolve payroll mattersSupport continuous improvement initiatives across payroll processes and systemsSkills & ExperiencePrevious experience processing high-volume end-to-end payrollStrong understanding of Australian payroll legislation, Awards and compliance requirementsSolid payroll foundations with a passion for getting it right the first timeExperience with ADP, or similar payroll systems highly regarded (not essential)Strong attention to detail with the ability to take ownership and accountability for your workExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build strong relationshipsProactive approach with the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environmentA genuine passion for payroll and delivering a high level of service
