Working alongside qualified andskilled painters, you will gain valuable hands‐on experience,mentoring, and ongoing support throughout yourapprenticeship.ABOUT THE ROLEAs aPainting Apprentice, your duties will include:Carryingout measurements and basic calculationsReadingand interpreting plans and specificationsErectingand maintaining trestle and plank systemsHandlingpainting and decorating materialsUsingpainting and decorating tools and equipmentRemovingand replacing doors, windows, and componentsPreparingsurfaces for paintingApplyingpaint using brushes and rollersApplyingtextured coating finishes by brush, roller, and sprayRequirementsABOUT YOUThesuccessful candidate will have:Agenuine interest in undertaking a Painting ApprenticeshipAWhite Card,



or the ability to obtain one as soon aspossiblePhysicalfitness and the ability to perform manual labourAwillingness to learn and work as part of a teamApositive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethicTheability to follow instructions and take directionTrustworthinessand motivationPreferred (but not essential):Acurrent driver's licence and reliable vehiclePreviouspainting or construction-related work experienceBENEFITSPaidapprenticeship with on-the-job trainingOngoingmentoring from experienced, qualified paintersNationallyrecognised qualification upon completionOpportunityto build long-term career pathways in the industryExposureto a variety of residential and commercial projectsDevelopmentof practical, in-demand trade skillsJobsecurity in a growing industryELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTTo beeligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship, you must be anAustralian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or have full working rightsin Australia.
