This is a hands‐on field‐based role working across Sydney and regional NSW, supporting a broad customer base across commercial, health, education, and infrastructure environments.The NSW Service team plays a critical role in Siemens overall service offering.
This position suits someone who enjoys fault finding, working directly with customers, and taking ownership of service outcomes in live operational environments.Reporting to the NSW Service Team Leader, you will deliver technical service work across preventative maintenance, reactive service, minor upgrades, and small works.
You will work across multiple customer sites and be part of an on‐call and after‐hours support roster.Your responsibilities will includePreventative maintenance and reactive service of building automation and HVAC control systemsFault finding and rectification of control panels, field devices, networks, and softwareUse of diagnostic tools and remote service platforms to identify and resolve issuesEvaluation of customer systems and providing technical recommendationsSupporting site safety activities including OH&S; compliance and risk assessmentsAssisting with minor works, upgrades, and commissioning activitiesProviding technical input into quotes, planning, and service delivery where requiredMaintaining accurate service records, reports,



and customer documentationBuilding strong working relationships with customers and internal stakeholdersTo be successful in this role, you will bring a strong technical foundation, a customer focused mindset, and a practical approach to problem solving.Essential skills and experienceSolid understanding of HVAC fundamentals and building services systemsExperience working in a service or maintenance environmentStrong fault finding and troubleshooting skillsComfortable working independently across multiple sitesClear written and verbal communication skillsStrong customer engagement and interpersonal skillsDesirable skills and experienceExperience with Building Automation Systems including Siemens Desigo, or similar platformsKnowledge of control networks such as BACnet, Modbus, and IP based systemsPLC or building controls software exposureExperience with commissioning, testing, or minor project worksUnderstanding of energy efficiency and optimisation principlesConfidence using mobile devices, service management systems, and Microsoft toolsAwareness of cyber security and OT network best practice in building systemsWe are looking for someone who takes pride in their technical work, cares about customer outcomes, and enjoys being part of a close‐knit service team.
