With over 20,000 residents across Australia, we combine smart design, brilliant service, and good vibes to make every resident feel welcome.Now part of The Living Company, we're shaping the future of student living, one amazing experience at a time.THE ROLEBased at our Scape Victoria site, your role will see you reporting to the Head Chef and working within the Scape Eats Team who deliver high quality service and food to our student residents.You will play a key role in keeping the Eatery organised and clean by carrying out general cleaning, washing and storage of crockery and cutlery, maintaining organisation and operation of commercial dish machine and assisting kitchen operations where necessary with the basic food preparation.Please Note - This role operates on a 7-day rotating roster, which means weekend work is a regular part of the role as we support our resident community every day of the week.THE IDEAL CANDIDATEWe are seeking an enthusiastic and engaging self-starterwho is passionate about delivering strong customer service and support in a team setting.In addition,



you will have the following skills and experience:Minimum 1 year of previous experience in a similar roleExperience operating commercial electric equipment / dish machinePrior experience of specific cleaning methods as they apply to different metals and surfacesExcellent communication skills and great attention to detailPositive and can-do attitudeAbility to prioritise tasks and work efficientlyStrong awareness of Hygiene & Food Safety StandardsAbility to work in a fast paced environmentWillingness to follow instructionPlease note: The successful candidate must be willing to undertake a National Police Check and a Working with Children checkPERKS & BENEFITSAt Scape, we are all about creating and sharing the good vibes.
