One of Australia'sleading Federal Government departmentsis looking to engage experiencedtwoCyber Security Engineersto lead the development of complex cyber security technologies and processes with a lens on continual improvement, under direction from the Cyber Security branch.The successfulCyber Security Engineerswill secure a12 month contract with the view to be extended for a further 12 months and receive a rewarding hourly rate!
The successfulCyber Security Engineerswill be responsible for, but not limited to:
Interpret business strategic direction and functional requirements and develop corresponding technologies to enhance the agency's defensive posture.
Working collaboratively with internal project teams and stakeholders to develop and deliver key cyber technologies.
Provide and maintain high quality documentation, including the development of architectural designs,
SOP and Service Design packs.
Translating technologies into simple processes and mentoring junior staff wherever required.
The successfulCyber Security Engineerswill have experience in the following:
Demonstrated experience in a minimum of three of the following, SIEM, SOAR, TIP, Vulnerability Management, Threat Modelling, PKI, CSPM, CNAPP.
Demonstrated experience of working with Cloud environments and technologies - Azure, AWS, SaaS environments.
Familiarity with Government and Industry Cyber frameworks, standards, controls and guidelines.
Understanding of secure DevSecOps practices.
