As a Final Trim Grader Operator, you will play a crucial role in the final stages of construction projects, ensuring precision grading and finishing work that meets stringent specifications and quality standards.
Your expertise will directly impact project success and client satisfaction, making this a key position within our operations team.Key responsibilitiesOperate Cat graders with precision to achieve final trim levels and specifications on construction sitesRead and interpret construction plans, drawings and GPS/ UTS coordinates to ensure accurate grading and finishingMaintain equipment in good working order, performing routine maintenance checks and reporting any mechanical issuesMonitor site conditions and adjust grading operations to accommodate weather and ground conditionsCommunicate effectively with site supervisors, engineers and other team members to ensure project requirements are metComply with all health and safety regulations and site-specific safety protocolsDocument daily work activities and maintain accurate records of grading operationsAssist with other earthworks and plant operations as required to support project deliveryWhat we're looking forProven experience as a Grader Operator,



particularly in final trim and finishing applications using Trimble UTSAdvanced proficiency in operating motor graders and GPS/ UTS -guided grading systemsStrong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and construction specificationsSound knowledge of construction methods, site safety procedures and relevant legislationExperience with equipment maintenance and pre-start checksExcellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with supervisors and site personnelA valid driver's licence and current operator's ticket or equivalent certificationFlexibility to work part time hours as required by project schedules and rostersDemonstrated commitment to health and safety practices on construction sitesReliability and punctuality in meeting work schedulesWhat we offerHall Civil & Earthworks Pty Ltd is committed to providing a supportive and professional work environment.
