Litter Picker - min of 21 hours per week - Full Clean Driving Licence NeededEstablished in ****, Shining Knight has provided exceptional cleaning and hygiene services to an expanding number of businesses and industries to rapidly become a leader in facility services.Specialising in Construction Site Cleaning, Corporate Office Facilities, Hospitality, Health/Aged Care, Education, and Retail as well as Local, State and Commonwealth Government contracts.About the OpportunityWe have an opening for Litter Pickerswhowill have the availability to workin The City of Casey Council Region at various locations.Working in a team of 2 you will be required to undertake litter collections within Council owned or controlled sites including but not limited to:Parks, Playgrounds and Skate ParksCar Parks (sealed or unsealed)Foreshore / Recreation AreasRoad ReservesWalking tracks and underpassesYou will collect the following items:All Loose litter, including but not limited to: food wrappers, tissues, drink containers, and similar items.Small bags of waste, such as take-away bags, supermarket bags, and dog poo bags.Hazardous or problematic items requiring specialised disposal, including but not limited to: Nitrous oxide canisters, E-waste and battery-embedded items (e.g., vapes), Syringes and sharps,



Condoms and nappiesThis task will involve the use of a provided vehicle to collect the waste at each location and to dispose of the waste at designated disposal sites.Therefore a Full Clean Driving Licence is mandatory for this positionUniform and all safety equipment will be providedThe minimum hours for this role areMonday 6:00am to 12:00pm (start at 7:00 during winter time)Tuesday 6:00am to 12:00pm (start at 7:00 during winter time)Friday 6:00am to 12:00pm (start at 7:00 during winter time)Sunday 7:00am to 10:00pm (start at 7:00 during winter time)However additional paid hours maybe required to carry out emergency litter removal and other tasks so your flexibility is keyThe successful candidate will be hands on and will ensure the highest level of attention to the cleanliness of the sites.Skills/experience required:Full Clean Driving LicenceGood communication skills and a fluency in EnglishAbility to work within a team and under pressureExceptional time management and organisational skillsA high level of motivation and initiativeThis position is a Part Time role working a minimum of 21 hours per weekRemuneration is based on the Cleaning Services Award ***** weeks paid Holiday per year (pro rata)12% Superannuation contributionsRequirementsThis is a Part Time time position but with the possibility of additional hours so only apply if you have the ability to legally work 38 hours per weekYou must hold full clean driving licenceYou must hold or be willing to obtain a valid Police Check before employment can startYou must hold or be willing to obtain a valid Working with Children Check before employment can startAt Shining Knight, we are passionate about what we do and we are proud of who we are.
