mental health and physical disabilities — including personal care (showering, dressing, grooming, toileting).
This is a core part of the role, always delivered with dignity and respectConfidently support participants with complex needs — mental health, trauma-informed care, behaviours of concern, de-escalation and positive behaviour supportImplement Behaviour Support Plans, Mealtime Management Plans and allied health recommendations, plus complex health supports and manual handling (training provided; nursing/clinical experience highly regarded)Support everyday living skills — meal prep, shopping, budgeting, domestic tasks and working toward individual goalsIdentify, report and document incidents, risks and hazards, and understand the NDIS Code of Conduct, reportable incidents and restrictive practices (full internal training provided)Maintain regular, reliable availability across mornings, evenings, overnights and weekends (preferences accommodated where possible)Be willing to drive company vehicles, including vans, when requiredABOUT YOUYou will have a kind and caring nature, and have demonstrated experience in providing care and support to vulnerable people.
You have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and build positive relationships with our participants, their family members, and carers (where applicable).




Qualifications & ChecksCertificate III or IV in Disability, Aged Care and/or Individual SupportNDIS Worker check (or willing to obtain)WWCC (or willing to obtain)First Aid (can be obtained after application)NSW Drivers LicenceOwn Reliable Car and Comprehensively insuredExperience & SkillsShow a compassionate, inclusive, and professional approach with a strong focus on customer servicePrevious experience in a similar role providing support to people with complex care needs is highly valued.
