The service combines heritage character with contemporary comfort and personalised care.We are looking for Weekend Cook to join our aged care team at Moyne Aged Care, in a casual/part‐time capacity.About the RoleAs a Weekend Cook, you will be a valued part of our residents' daily lives—creating meals they look forward to and moments that bring comfort, connection, and enjoyment.
This is a fast-paced, hands‐on role where no two days are the same, ideal for someone who enjoys being active, organised, and making a meaningful impact.What You Will Be DoingPrepare and serve nutritious, high‐quality meals tailored to residents' dietary needs and preferencesDeliver meals with care and presentation that enhances the dining experienceCater for special diets, allergies,



and texture‐modified mealsSupport residents' enjoyment of food by engaging positively during meal serviceMaintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanlinessAssist with menu planning to ensure variety, balance, and resident satisfactionManage kitchen operations including stock control, storage, and organisationWork collaboratively with the care team to support residents' wellbeingWhat You Will BringCertificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalentExperience as a cook or chef, ideally within aged care, healthcare, or hospitalityKnowledge of nutrition, special diets, and food safety standardsA genuine passion for preparing meals that make a difference in people's livesStrong time management skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast‐paced environmentA positive, reliable attitude and ability to work well within a teamA National Police Clearance or NDIS Screening Check, or willingness to obtain thisFood Safety Certification (or willingness to obtain)Why You Will Love Working with UsReal career pathways, with opportunities to grow into senior or leadership rolesOngoing training, mentoring, and opportunities to learn on the jobSupportive, approachable leaders who listen and supportA friendly, inclusive team that enjoys working together, celebrates achievements, and supports one anotherAccess to an Employee Assistance Program for additional support when you need itA values driven culture where your ideas are welcomed and your hard work is recognisedTo learn more about Roshana Care Group, visit: .
