Initially focused on accounts payable and high-volume invoice processing, you'll develop confidence in the fundamentals before gaining exposure to accounts receivable, reconciliations, month-end and broader finance activities.
Working closely with an experienced Financial Controller and supportive team, there is plenty of scope to learn, contribute and progress.DUTIESProcess high-volume accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and efficientlyComplete monthly bank reconciliations and support broader reconciliation activitiesProcess corporate credit card claims and ensure expenditure aligns with internal policiesAssist with month-end accounting activities and reporting requirementsSupport accounts receivable activities as your knowledge and capability developLiaise with internal stakeholders,



senior management and external partiesReview finance processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce operational riskSKILLS & EXPERIENCECompleted Bachelor of Accounting, related degree or relevant equivalent qualification; an accounting diploma may also be consideredAround 1–2 years' experience in accounts payable or a similar junior accounting positionStrong interest in building a long-term career in accounting, with an interest in financial services highly regardedWorking knowledge of Fringe Benefits Tax will be highly regarded, but a genuine willingness to learn is equally importantExcellent attention to detail with strong organisation and time management skillsSelf-motivated, diligent and comfortable working in a quick-paced environmentStrong written and verbal communication skills with the confidence to work across different stakeholder groupsOUR RECRUITMENT PROCESSAt Lotus People, we are committed to fostering diversity, equity and inclusion.
