We have an exciting prospect for 2.2 FTE Grade 2 Music Therapists to join the Music Therapy Team until 30/6/27.
One position will have a specific focus on adoeslcent health.As part of Allied Health, the Music Therapy team provides specialist, evidence-based music therapy services to infants, children and young people with a broad range of medical, neurodevelopmental and mental health needs.
Through targeted therapeutic interventions, music therapists support children and families to navigate their healthcare journey and achieve meaningful clinical outcomes.

plus superannuation.What you'll achieve:Provision of high-quality music therapy services as required provided to children and families presenting with a broad range of complex needs across a variety of specialty areas.Active participation in a large music therapy team to ensure ongoing excellence in service deliveryContribution to service improvement, innovation and evidence-based practiceParticipation in professional development, supervision and liefelong learningTo be successful in this role you will have:Current Registered Music Therapist (RMT) status with the Australian Music Therapy AssociationExcellent musicianship and clinical music therapy skillsThorough knowledge of music therapy for infants, children and young people; including neurodevelopment and mental health needsExperience working with infants, children and adolescentsKnowledge of neurodevelopmental, mental health and acute healthcare contexts.Strong communication and relationship-building skills.Experience supervising music therapy studentsWhat we Offer:Salary Packaging – Increase your take home pay!
