You will work from job specifications and drawings, ensuring materials are cut correctly and prepared for the next stage of production.The successful candidate will be someone who takes pride in their work, understands the importance of quality and enjoys working in a busy manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate panel saw machinery safely and efficientlyAccurately cut sheet materials to specified dimensionsRead and interpret job sheets,



drawings and measurementsSet up machinery and select appropriate cutting parametersMeasure and inspect finished cuts to ensure accuracyLoad and unload materials safelyIdentify material requirements and minimise wastagePerform basic machine adjustments and troubleshootingMaintain a clean, organised and safe work areaFollow all company WHS and quality proceduresComplete production documentation and job recordsAssist with general workshop and production duties when requiredWork closely with other production and machining team members to meet deadlinesAbout YouWe're looking for a reliable and hands-on Machine Operator who has previous experience operating a panel saw in a manufacturing or production environment.You will ideally have:Previous panel saw operating experience - essentialManufacturing, production or workshop experienceStrong ability to read measurements and work accuratelyAbility to read basic technical drawings or job specificationsGood understanding of workplace health and safetyStrong attention to detailGood numerical and measurement skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamA reliable and positive attitudeGood time management and ability to meet production deadlinesExperience working with plastics, composites, timber, sheet materials or similar products will be highly regarded
