Working RDO's paid at Double time rates (for the full 12 hour shift!)emp to perm after 3 months for proven performersNo daily shift confirmation needed from the agencyDiscounts on products, annual bonuses and career progression opportunities available once you become a permanent employeeThe Role: 4 on 4 off Forklift / Machine OperatorAs a key member of the Manufacturing Team, the Machine & Forklift Operator's primary purpose is to manufacture product in accordance with specification in a secure and timely manner.
Every shift starts with a 15 minute start up meeting to set out your daily activities.Your main duties will involve:Forklift Operating:Forklift pre-start checklist dailyOperating 8 Tonne forkliftsLoading and unloading B-Doubles, Semi trailers,



Interstate and linehaul trucksLoading of oversized goods on up to 6 metre long palletsUnloading off machinery and moving product to necessary locationPutting stock away and moving stock around using the forkliftPlacing gluts onto packs to assist in the loadingSplitting packsSorting through damaged stocksMachine Operation:Monitoring the flow of products into machines, and adjusting valves and controls to specificationsOperating concrete mixing, stacking and splitting machinesSetting up and installing moulds and other machine fixturesCollecting and examining samples for conformity to specifications and adjusting machine settings accordinglySetting grinding and cutting edgesCarry out work in a safe manner, in accordance with Safety procedures as applicableEnsure process efficiencies are achieved and maintainedEnsure production is in line with the specified production scheduleEnsure product quality is in accordance with relevant specificationShift Available:2 days working 6am to 6pm then,2 days working 6pm to 6am7 day working rosterThe Candidate:8 Tonne forklift OperationIndustrial Manufacturing Machine operating experienceLoading and unloading B-doubles, Semi trailers and line haulWrapping and strapping of products and oversized palletsSetting up and maintaining manufacturing machineryQA and quality checks / lab testing experience is highly advantageousPreviously having worked in a Night shift / rotating shift pattern positionPreviously worked in roles where manual handling up to 20kg products was involvedPreviously worked in roles with Timber or cement products in highly advantageous
